The next generation of Assos flagship WorldTour bib shorts, re-engineered with lower weight, increased cooling breathability, and more comfortable, body-wrapping compression from waist to raw-cut leg openings.
Behind the product
The key updates to the new EQUIPE RS shorts include a new textile and a redesigned insert. The new textile, Type.911, has enabled Assos to completely reengineer the cut, reducing seam count and wrinkles while micro-adjusting the fit across the legs and waist. It has also allowed Assos to eliminate the rollBar bib strap design, as Type.911 is more elastic and more compressive than the Type.441 used in the previous generation.
Rather than being merely suspended from bib straps, the S11 shorts envelop the rider’s body with omnidirectional, body-mapped stability.
The new RS S11 insert features a top sheet that is softer against the skin and more durable through repeated washing. It also incorporates an improved odor-control treatment while maintaining its predecessor’s cooling airflow, micro-shock damping, and low-volume, lightweight profile.
